FlowMetrix: The Multiplexing Solution
FlowMetrix consists of three component technologies: flow cytometry, microspheres and digital signal processing. The patented FlowMetrix microspheres, currently available in 64 colors, serve as carrier vehicles for molecular reactions. Reporter molecules such as antibodies, antigens or nucleic acid probes provide specific signals for each reaction. Using a conventional flow cytometer, the microspheres are categorized by color and each individual reaction is measured simultaneously.
