FlowMetrix System

The system platform contains the hardware and software that perform analysis on a Becton-Dickinson FACScan^TM. The hardware consists of a high quality personal computer with the Luminex digital signal processor installed, 1024 x 768 high color display, switch box and GPIO cables to interface both the FlowMetrix System and your current control system to the FACScan. The FlowMetrix analysis software is preloaded and configured on your computer. To insure an accurate setup, calibration spheres are included to insure consistent results time after time. And to get your development started quickly, a generous supply of development spheres are included with the FlowMetrix System. Development Spheres

Development spheres provide an economical means to discover and optimize the characteristics of individual biomolecular interactions. A development sphere's surface is identical to the surface of the multiplexing microspheres. They are available with either a carboxylated coating or an avidin coating.

Multiplexing Spheres

Multiplex sphere packs deliver the power of FlowMetrix. Once the individual component reactions are fully understood, a multiplex sphere pack allows all the reactions and controls to be mixed and measured simultaneously. They are available with either a carboxylated coating or an avidin coating.

Calibration Spheres

Calibration spheres are a precise blend of microspheres designed to assure consistency time after time. Packaged for immediate use, the calibration spheres make confidence in your measurements easy to establish and maintain.
