Vincent,
Changes in the sort delay implies that your droplet breakoff configuration
may not be the same as when you originally set the instrument for sorting.
If an unstable droplet configuration is the cause of the problem you may
check the bimorph (might as well put in a new one). Also, make sure
all the screws in the flow cell holder are tight, as well as the flow cell
itself. It also never hurts to let all sorting components(i.e.droplet
breakoff drive, deflection plates) warm up before doing a sort matrix.
