In response to the question of Ulrich Sack in Leipzig, elastase is a
lysosomal endoproteinase, which also occurs as a secreted form. It
recognizes and cuts (Ala-Ala)n.

There are two Rhodamine-110 versions available (catalog numbers R-6504 and
R-6506) and there is a chloromethyl version of R-6504, which is catalog
number 6569.
