The candidate will interact with a group of researchers in Molecular
Hematology with emphasis on cell and molecular biology of leukemias and with
other investigators at MDACC.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for multicolor image
acquisition and computerized image analysis using a ZEISS laser confocal
microscope. The candidate will use image analysis software for a MAC
platform with magneto-optical disc storage and digital printer output.
The position requires a MS or equivalent degree. Experience in FACS sorting
is essential. Experience in bioengineering, bioinstrumentation, computer
assisted microscopy and/or image processing would be desirable but is not
required.
