I'm looking for a comercial source of the 633nm excitable dye
carboxy-naphthol-fluorescein-diacetate. Also I would be interested to
hear of any other red-excitable dyes that can be used for viability
measurements - particularly in animal cells (be gentle I'm a
microbiologist!!!)

Best wishes,

Haze
