robots for routine flow analysis?

What is your experience with robotics for routine, bulk "clinical" type
staining and analysis? Nothing fancy or esoteric; just for testing
reticulocytes or simple CD4+ vs CD8+ enumeration. Are there FACSprep or
sons-of-FACSpreps out there, (or being conceived) chugging away, doing good
jobs? What are relative advantages and pitfalls? Does anyone manufacture
something that interfaces with existing systems? What is cost/benefit? Any
+ or - testimonials appreciated from either companies or users.
