a couple of other solutions come to mind, but I suspect that they are more
money/trouble than they are worth; nevertheless,
1. buying a pc hp interface card, or an adapter, have already been mentioned. the third
possibility is to take out the hp card in the printer, and put a parallel one in its
place.
2. Hook up the pc's to the hp computer, then use the hp as a print server.
3. Sell the paintjets, and replace with new color inkjets (400-500$)
4. If the hp cable is rs 232, replace the pc's with macs, and print directly. ; - )
