DNA analysis from cardiomyocytes

We want to analyse DNA and protein or DNA and RNA from cardiomyocytes
by flow cytometry. At the moment, we get only awful DNA histograms.
Do anyone have experience with DNA measurements of myocytes?
We are grateful for any help, advice, tip .....
