In response to the newly initiated dialogue on apoptosis....anyone attending
the workshop on the subject at the ISAC conference (Lk. Placid) came away
with the understanding that with any of these techniques employed in
measuring apoptotic events, microscopic evaluation for morphologic changes
associated with apoptosis is essential. I've sorted populations from
cells albelled with the ONCOR kit, and found apparent apoptotic cells where
I did'nt expect them (essentially, throughout the entire DNA distribution).
For most I'm sure its a reminder; for others, a revelation.
(thats "labelled" with the ONCOR kit, not "albelled"
MAK.
