PharMingen owns a 80,000 square feet facility on a six acre campus in the prestigious Torrey Pines area, approximately one mile north of the University of California at San Diego and in close proximity to the Scripps Research Institute and Salk Institute. This area is considered one of the premier locations in the world for biotechnology companies and biomedical research institutions. Accessibility to the surrounding institutes and companies helps to facilitate joint R&D projects and provides the Company access to a highly skilled labor pool. The headquarters also contains a fully equipped multimedia Conference Center, a lunch and outdoor patio facility, and a library. The Company currently occupies 65,000 square feet. Remaining space of 15,000 square feet is currently rented to tenants under short term leases.
The Company also maintains an office in Hamburg, Germany to support German subsidiary operations including marketing, sales, distribution, and business development.
