The 12B1 antibody recognizes gp93 kDa. It reacts with adherent monocytes maintained in culture for several days but not with bone marrow or peripheral blood cells including freshly isolated monocytes. It recognizes dendritic reticulum cells in the germinal center of lymph nodes, spleen and tonsils.
