FDA,NaF-Esterase

Part Number: 7547082

Fluorescein diacetate (FDA) is a substrate for many different nonspecific esterases in human tissues. The different rates of hydrolysis for acetate esterases make them useful in differentiating leukocyte cell types. FDA,NaF¨Esterase contains the esterase inhibitor sodium fluoride (NaF), which provides an additional means of identifying specific cell types. For example, nonspecific esterase activity in monocytes is inhibited by fluoride while esterase activity in granulocytes is unaffected by fluoride.
