D-Aminopeptidase A

Part Number: 7547076

ASP acid-Rho110 is a substrate for aminopeptidases, including the Ca2+ -dependent enzyme aminopeptidase A. Aminopeptidase A is found in both soluble and membrane-bound forms. Aminopeptidase A is known to cleave the N-terminal aspartic acid amino acid of angiotensin I or II. Aminopeptidase A is also identical to BP-1/6C3, a molecule found on early lineage B cells but not on mature lymphocytes. BP-1/6C3 may have a role in the ability to support long-term growth of B cells.
Alternative enzyme nomenclature: aspartate aminopeptidase, angiotensinase A, EC 3.4.11.7
