Thrombospondin is a 450 kDa alpha-granule glycoprotein involved in platelet aggregation. It is expressed on the platelet surface after activation. Antibodies P10 and P12 recognize two different determinants on thrombospondin. Antibody 5G11 is a blocking antibody.
