Vb6 is a complex subfamily of the TCR, consisting of at least 10 genes.CRI 304.3 antibody recognizes the Vb6.1 (HBP50 sequence) member of this subfamily.Reactivity on other members of the Vb6 subfamily has not been found but cannot be formally excluded.It has been recently shown that CRI304.3 could cross react with a Vb8 subset. It stains 2.5 to 4.4 % of peripheral CD3+ cells in normal blood.
