The 3H9 antibody reacts with a human retinoblastoma gene product which is a nuclear protein of 110-115 kDa functioning as a tumor suppressor. It is phosphorylated from S to M phase of the cell cycle and dephosphorylated in G1. 3H9 antibody is suitable for immunoblotting and immunohistochemistry on cryostat or paraffin embedded tissue sections.
