E-cadherin, also called L-CAM (Liver Cell Adhesion Molecule) is a 123 kDa molecule of the cadherin family, which mediates Ca2+-dependent homotypic adhesion between epithelial cells. 67A4 antibody recognizes E-cadherin expressed by non-neural epithelial tissues.
