The CD122 antigen is the human IL-2 receptor b chain (p75).It is expressed on NK cells, B and T cells and monocytes. It is a component of the membrane high affinity receptor for IL-2. CD122 can bind IL-2 and is involved in IL-2 signal transduction. CF1 is a non blocking antibody. 2RB antibody blocks IL-2 binding. Both antibodies were evaluated during the Fifth International Workshop on Human Leukocyte Differentiation Antigens.
