CD94 antigen (Kp43) is a functional cell surface disulfide-linked dimer of 70 kDa. It is expressed by a high percentage of Natural Killer (NK) cells and by a large subpopulation of gd TCR+ T lymphocytes. The HP-3B1 antibody acts as an inhibitor of the IL-2 dependent proliferation of cytotoxic NK cells. HP-3B1 antibody was evaluated during the Fifth International Workshop on Human Leukocyte Differentiation Antigens.
