It is known as the Pk blood group antigen, a normal intermediate in the biosynthetic pathway of the P blood group antigen. It is also present as an antigen of germinal center B cells entering apoptosis. It is expressed by endothelial cells. 38.13 antibody was evaluated during the Fourth International Workshop on Human Leukocyte Differentiation Antigens.
