The CD1b antigen is a membrane glycoprotein with a molecular weight of 45 kDa, expressed in association with b2-microglobulin. It is found on cortical thymocytes (moderately), Langerhans cells and interdigitating cells. CD1b antibody reacts with a B cell subset. 4A7.6 antibody was evaluated during the Third International Workshop on Human Leukocyte Differentiation Antigens.
