Warranty and Service Contracts
All Coulter instruments are warranted for a period of 1 year from installation date. During this period all repair costs, parts, labor and travel are covered. Outside the warranty period, service parts are warranted for 90 days, and labor for 30 days.
Service contracts are offered on all currently supported particle characterization instruments. It extends the warranty period and may be purchased any time, but special discounts are offered if purchased with an instrument.

Technical Support
Coulter technical staff can provide assistance in many ways. Account representatives and 800 number support can discuss instrument checkout procedures, supply details on spare parts, guide you in solving your problem, or arrange for your local Technical Representative to visit, if necessary.
Telephone and Modem Diagnostics
As a Coulter customer you would be given full support from both a locally based service representative, as well as from our offices in Miami. We provide full telephone support to help you solve problems. In addition , if your instrument computer is fitted with a modem, we can diagnose problems by connecting directly to your instrument through the phone line. All computers supplied by Coulter for their Particle Characterization Instruments are fitted with modems (from 1996 on).
Applications Development
Coulter provides Applications Development support from its Laboratories located in Miami and Europe. Our experts develop new applications for our instruments, upon customer request, at any time after the purchase of an instrument. We do not usually charge for this service although, if the instrument is out of warranty, or not on service contract we do make a small charge.
Training
