MISCELLANEOUS FORMULAS

Cp(t) = {Ka/(Ka-Ke)} * {F*D/Vd} * {[1-e-(N*T*Ke)]/[1-e-(T*Ke)]} * {e-(Ka*t} - {[1-e-(N*T*Ka)]/[1-e-(T*Ka)]}
GLC got this formula from "somewhere". It is supposed to plot the concentration at time "t" on repeated doses. I may have the "T" and "t" misapplied! I have not yet tried this version to see if it works.

Oscillation ratio = 1/e-(Ke* T)
Have not had a chance to check this out, yet.
It should give ratio of Max/min.

Cp(t) = {Ka/[Ka-Ke]} * {F*D/Vd} * {e-(Ke* t) - e-(Ka* t)}
Formula is supposed to plot a curve where Ka is NOT >> Ke. Have not tested it yet.

Ke = [ln C(t2) - ln C(t1)] / [t2 - t1]
Where t2 is a time after t1 (h)
Ke = elimination rate constant (/h)
C = drug concentration (mg/L)

t2-t1 = [ln C(t2) - ln C(t1)] / Ke
Can use for calculating withdrawal time after a known drug concentration in the tissue of interest.
Ke = rate constant of elimination from the tissue in question
C = drug concentration in tissue of interest
t2 = time after known concentration that drug concentration reaches the "action level."
t1 = time of known or estimated drug concentration ... will be set to zero in equation.
