I am looking for a simple way to detect differentiated PMN
(neutrophils as well as eosinophils and basophils) in peripheral
blood by flow cytometric analysis. Is there a specific marker for
PMN or will I have to perform double or triple stainings to be able
to gate on PMN? It is important for me to distinguish differentiated
PMN from myelogenic progenitors as these will be present in the blood
samples.
I thought about CD15 and CD16, but using these markers don't seem
to be very specific for PMN (Mono's, NK-cells,...).
How do you determine PMN for routine analysis?
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
