ANNOUNCEMENT

FDA SPONSORED WORKSHOP ON PERIPHERAL BLOOD STEM CELLS

THe FDA's Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research is co-sponsoring a
peripheral blood stem cell workshop with the National Institutes of Health's
National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute.

The two-day workshop will be held on February 22 and 23, 1996 in Bethesda,
Maryland. The objectives of the workshop are to discuss peripheral blood stem
issues, with particular fosus on the isolation, storage, and characteristics of
the final preparation of peripheral blood stem cells for use in hematopoetic
reconstitution.

The two-day workshop will be held at the National Institutes of Health, Jack
Masur Auditorium, Building 10, 9000 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, Maryland 20892.

There is no registration fee for this workshop. To ensure participation,
pre-registration for the workshop is recommended, and will be handled by:
