Hello !
Could someone advise whether it is possible to use distilled water as the
sheath fluid on an FACStar, if sorting is not done. Are there any problems with
bacterial growth etc. Any experiences ?.
Please reply to me or on the net.

I use exclusively DI water with my EPICS for analysis, conserving the
Isoflow sheath fluid for sorting only. I have had no
problems with analysis or with contamination. I would
think the FACStar would be similar.
