Thanks to everyone who responded, and my sincere apologies for taking so
long to put this together! Since many of the replies were by email, I
decided to preserve your privacy and not list your name or the name of
your institution. What I have done is arrange the responses by region,
with notes on the type of institution and level of support if indicated.
If people want to see this sort of summary on a periodic basis send me a
note and maybe I'll issue a call for submissions again sometime. I didn't
use tabular format to avoid problems with different types of mail readers.

On a related note, I'm fairly new to ISAC, but there seems to be a lot of
interest in these managerial issues--fees, data storage, storage formats,
etc. I've been wrestling with a lab LAN and file transfers over our
University LAN--I think these subjects are of interest to a lot of us.
This might make a great workshop for the next meeting--if you're
interested, let me know.
