Geoffrey,

Thanks for the fast response (I always like receiving email the day
before it was sent.) I got the uuencoded version. Looking around in
the decoded file, it seems to be the same as the source code file ,
hp9ker.pas, the current version on the Columbia University anonymous
ftp server, (watsun.cc.columbia.edu; in /kermit/c). Both the source
and compiled version contain the line: 'HP98xx Kermit version 1.0
20-Jan-84';" hence, they seem to be the same.

But the ominous note in the documentation file, hp9ker.doc, states:
"...I plan to be adding a lot to this implementation quite
soon, to improve the user command interface, error handling, add
login packets, and maybe binary transfers." I supose this means that
binary transfers are still not implemented since no further version
seems to be present. Does your version allow transfer of binary list
mode files?

Dave
