Recently, Eric Martz and Neal Benson were discussing accounting of flow
cytometry computer resources.

We've been keeping track of user acquisition and analysis seperately for years
on BD's MicroVAX II/Consort 40 system. We simply have sepearate logins for acq
and anl. For example, if the user's name were J. Jones, then they would have 2
logins: JJ for acquisition and JONES for analysis. I must admit, this system has
only been used for operator-run samples. A bit of "scout's honor" would be
necessary for user-run samples.
