Hello!

Has anyone out there used/bought Coulter's new EPICS Elite series
cytometer? I need some impressions since we are shopping around for
another machine and our local rep doesn't reply to phone messages.
One important thing is whether those of you who have used it have
tried running calcium experiments with Indo-1.

Second thing... is there an Internet discussion list exclusively on
flow cytometry? If so, would someone be kind enough to point me at
it? Thank you.

Sorry about being less than clear in the last posting I made.

The Coulter cytometer I referred to is the new modular one they have.
It has the following:

- optional sorter module
- up to five (5) lasers for 5 colors + FSC, SSC and time
- it's black

The name Elite keeps sticking in my mind but I could actually be
talking about the Ultra (my boss has the pamplet so I'm using my
spotty memory).

Thank you.
