We did some work on flow cytometry of liposomes about ten years ago.
We never got around to publishing it, but found that you can encapsulate
an aqueous space marker (FITC-dextran) in unlamellar liposomes and monitor
what you had obtained using either fluorescence or light-scatter. Log
scales were useful, obviously, since the size ranges of the vesicles were
large.
CD ROM Vol 2 was produced by staff at the Purdue University Cytometry Laboratories
and distributed free of charge as an educational service to the cytometry community.
