PKH-26 compensation

Hi all
Another curly one! (cross-beam compensation revisited..)

Running a FACStar Plus with Dye laser at about 605nm;
I recently got a better pump laser, so was able to turn up the wick
on dye laser to about 150mW (I think!).

Wonderful improvement in both APC and Texas Red :-)
But now we are getting PKH-26 breaking into the APC channel! :-(
Strangely, not so much into the Texas Red channel... ;~}

I don't have a good picture of spectra for PKH-26, don't know if it is
absorbing at 605, but it does appear to have a long emission tail.

Any experience like this?

Ideas &/or info greatly appreciated.

Much Thanks, Joseph.
