Job description: Temporary-full time flow cytometrist

Genetics Institute is looking for an individual to fill a temporary-
full/80% time position from 15 October 1996 through 15 April 1997.
The individual will manage the core flow cytometry facility within the
company's Immunology and Hematopoiesis group. Responsibilities
will include performing all cell sorting experiments (involving many murine
and human cell types) on a triple laser Becton Dickinson FACStar PLUS/
MacIntosh platform system, with ACDU (microtiter well sorting) capability.
The facility also includes a standard FACScan, which must be set
up for investigators on a daily basis. Experiments typically involve standard
cell surface phenotyping, with or without live/dead cell discrimination
(up to 5 colors), some occasional intracellular staining, DNA analysis,
apoptosis analysis, and Ca++ flux studies. Five years experience in the
field, ideally working with Becton Dickinson multi-laser systems, would be
