In response to your question about measuring in vivo platelet activation, it
can be done. The trick includes (1) careful blood drawing to minimize
artefactual activation, (2) immediate fixation to avoid post-draw
activation. Several markers work, again the important thing is to have a
well-conjugated, "good" antibody (the B-D CD62P is one such antibody). We
