Dear Group:

Concerning what we think is artifactual two-color staining of thiazole
orange-stained retics,

those cells which are seemingly double stained are not the ones in which
FL 1 is brightest. We do have some samples with bright FL1 (in which
cases we may be under comped), but the dot plot pattern in these samples
is distinctly different compared to our "double stained" samples.

Also, the doubly stained cells have only moderate FL1 fluorescence so I
don't think it's a question of dye:cell ratio.

Thanks for all of your replies.

Ray
