Princeton University, Department of Molecular Biology, is seeking a
professional technical staff person to manage a Flow Cytometry Core
Facility. Position requiers a B.S. with 8-10 years experience on Flow
Cytometry instrumentation. Experience in multiparameter analysis and
sorting, DNA/cell cycle analysis, and familiarity with dye lasers preferred.
Responsibilities include administration, operation and repair of
instrumentation, and instruction of graduate students, postdoctoral fellows,
and faculty with new applications, experimental design, data interpretation,
and generation of flow cytometric data for publication. Current
instrumentation includes a modified B-D FACS vantage, B-D 4 color FACSScan,
Coulter 753 with Cytomation Cicero Interface, and a Counter Profile II
Analyzer. Knowledge of experience in use of some of the above
instrumentation required; professional training on B-D instruments
available.
