I understand that compounds such as monensin may be used to enhance
detection of intracellular cytokines; by disrupting intracellular protein
transport such treatments lead to accumulation of cytokines in the golgi
apparatus. Could anyone with experience of using monensin or brefeldin A
in this manner advise me on which concentrations work best?
