Hi Chris

Mimosine arrests cells in G1/S so it may not be the best drug for your
purpose. Serum starvation and/or thymidine block would probably be better.
The original reference describing inhibition of DNA synthesis by thymidine
is JI vol:119 p1738-43. Thymidine is cheap and can be bought from Sigma.
