One Cell Systems/Job Openings
We are growing our cell screening business as more biopharmaceutical and
research institutions adopt our single cell secretion assay format for
identifiying high producer and rare cells either by lease or fee for service
at our facility in Cambridge, MA. Hybridoma and transfected cells can be
screened for protein secretion in a few days instead of weeks to months for
limiting dilution cloning. New applications include cell screening for a
variety of cell types used for cellular therapy.

Position Director Cell Screening/Senior Scientist

Must have strong cell biology or immunology experience, flow analysis and
sorting experience. Must be outgoing and enjoy interacting with and
developing customers and potential corporate partners. Assistance in
establishing cytomety and digital image applications lab. Ph.D. and several
years experience, some in a commercial setting.

Other Positions

Scientist/Microbiology

Assist in developing rapid susceptibility assays for infectious diseases in
programs funded by NIH and NSF. Microdrop formats reduce the time for
definitive susceptibility testing for antibiotic and antimycotic agents.
Feasibility for TB and fungal assays have been demonstrated. Assist in
developing high throughput screening assays for compounds and natural
products. Product development experience a plus. Ph.D. in related area.
Must enjoy interacting with outside commercial and university investigators.

Scientist/Molecular Biologist

Assist in developing in solution in situ hybridization assays for genomics
and molecular cytogenetics. Feasibility has been demonstrated and the
company is beginning product development activities with collaborative
clinical labs. The inherent throughput of flow cytometry is a unique feature
of this assay format. Dgitial image is also under development. Ph.D. and
flow cytometry experience.

Chemist

Assist in assessing several novel matrix materials for single cell assays.
Continue developing crosslinking and derivatization procedures. Label probes
and antibodies for commercial customers and for inclusion in single cell
assay test kits. Ph.D. and related experience.

Instrumentation/Cytometry Manager

Assume responsibility for managing flow cytometry center. Assist in making
new equipment operational. Establish procedures for screening service
business. Assist in assessing commercial OEM cytometry and digital image
instrumentation options. Interact with outside component manufacturers and
design consultants. Ph.D. and related experience.
