RNA Stains

Following up on Tom Frey's recent comment - I've tried blocking DNA
binding of thiazole orange and a couple of other cyanine nucleic acid stains
with Hoechst dye, and it doesn't seem to work (i.e., most of the dye
fluorescence remains after RNAse treatment, which is not the case with
pyronin. We keep hoping, though.
