Works great. For details see the entry in my lab's web site. Correction of
fluorescence overlap between 7-AAD and PE is important. Look at the color
illustrations that accompany the procedure.

Anyone have any experience using 7-AAD to gate out non-viable cells in
a two-color system (PE or RD1 in combination with FITC) using a 488 nm
laser (Epics Profile II)?
