Most of our dept is Macintosh; they all use Endnote. Others have extolled
its virtues so I won't go over them again except that the Word `plug in'
module is great! Most people search Current Contents and Medline (from our
servers) with the results downloaded directly into their Endnote databases.
We tried Ref Man for Macintosh but most of those staff have given it up.
The single database limitation was very frustrating and it crashed regulary
requiring database rebuilds. One staff member had a database so large that
this rebuild took over three days!
