HP340 software revisions

HP340 users,

I'd be keen to hear from anyone who knows about the changes made in the
different revisions of BD's HP software, often referred to as Consort 32 or
C32.

We've had a 340, connected to our FACScan, for many years. We've mostly
left the software alone (C32 1.0.2) only upgrading LYSYS II from version
1.0 to 1.1. Even this minor upgrade meant doing all our mousetracks again.

We recently acquired another 340 which came with newer revisions of the
software. Once again trouble! There were a number of problems I found
during a long first evening setting up the computer.
As an example:
C32 (1.0.2) and LYSYS II 1.1 takes about 12secs to print a page (timed from
hitting `print' to getting the cursor back) when LYSYS is set to B & W.
C32 (2.2.2) and LYSYS II 1.1 takes about 60 secs to print the same page!
I assume this might be related to the software print spooler; supposedly
fixed in the later revisions. Maybe it's the other way around!

Our mousetracks from the first configuration also don't run correctly with
the newer C32 software.
I also now have two versions of FACSnet; 1.0.2 and 1.1.2. What are the changes?

I'd be keen to hear from anyone who knows about the changes made in the
different revisions. Has BD ever published such an update/bug fix list?

Thanks in advance,
Leon Martin.
