CD34 counting in Marrow

I am curious as to what people are doing for marrow CD34 counts (or is
no-one doing these?). For blood, most people seem to be using CD45 not just
to pick out the CD34 cells but also to provide a useful denominator that
eliminates debris, red cells, etc. However, in marrow the CD45 dim and
negative pop'n includes the nucleated RBC that we usually also include in
the total nucleated cell count. Here the denominator becomes a more
significant problem. Any thoughts?
