Steve Kelley:

I would like to subscribe to the flow cytometry interest group. I've
very recently started work in the Laboratory of Parasitic Diseases at
the NIH and have been learning how to do FACS. Will be doing different
specimens - blood, lymph and broncho-alveolar lavage so any advice from
people doing this would be welcome.

I also have a specific question regarding the third color to use on a
single-laser machine. Do the tandemly-conjugated dyes offer a big
advantage over eg. Cy5 or PerCP?

Sincerely,

Ramya Gopinath
