Macintosh Software on ftp

FCAP-list software for off-line analysis of flow cytometry
data on Apple Macintosh is available at

anonimous ftp site: 'petindigo.atomki.hu'
and anonimous ftp site: 'fox.klte.hu'.

FCAP-list can read data files saved in FCS1.0 and FCS2.0
data file format.

How to download the installer files of the software is described
in the README file located in /pub/fcap/ directory.

In order to download the README file you need to login to one
of the sites. Login to your local network and type following
commands and information:
(We assume '>' is the prompt character of your computer. Instead, you
might see another prompt, like %, etc.)

>ftp petindigo.atomki.hu (or >ftp fox.klte.hu)
...
user: anonymous
password: 'type here your e-mail address'
...
>cd /pub/fcap
>ascii
>get README
...
>quit

A full version of FCAP-list that allows you to analyze your own data
files for 30 days is located in directories /pub/fcap/install/installer_disk
and /pub/fcap/install/demofiles_disk. The required files are 'macidful.zip'
and 'macdfful.zip'.
