Yeast DNA files

Okay, the files are ready. They are not on Steve's server (it would not let
me create a directory to put them in). They are on my server at:
uv1.im.med.umich.edu

Log on as "flowfile" password "flowfile".

The files are in a directory called (surprisingly enough) yeast. They were
ftped in binary format.

There are 23 histogram files. 2 experiments, epic0002-epic0014 and epic0015-
epic0025. These are S. cerevisiae either wild type or with an overexpressing
cell cycle related protein, however both strains gave identical results.
The yeast were grown in rich media, then arrested in G1 with yeast mating factor
then released and time points taken every 20 minutes. I don't have any more
details in front of me, except that right in the begining you will see a normal
undisturbed cycle, then the time course will start. They were stained with PI
and run on a Coulter Epics C. If you cannot read Coulter files and would like
a copy, let me know and I will fax you a printout.

As I said before, I do not promise that these are the best you can get, and if
you have any comments or suggestions, they would be welcome.

I will leave the files on the server through the month and then erase them,
unless someone writes and asks me not to.

Hope this helps.
