Quality control/ Recharge

I have just taken over the operation of a FACScan with a Mac
platform in the department of Medical Pathology at UC Davis. The
instrument has had limited usage by a few users, and we are now interested
in developing a recharge system to provide service to other users. I have
two questions: 1) What are other facilities currently charging for sample
collection and data analysis, and 2) what kind of quality control measures
are being used. My experience is with BD's Calibrite beads and FACSComp,
but I am interested in whether there are other beads available and your
experience with them. We are not a clinical facility- just research.

Thanks,

Carol Oxford
