We still use SlideWrite although we are upgraded to v. 3.0 for
Windows. Program is still more or less simple, but does do imports from
lotus 123 which can take list mode imports from your MFI program.
SlideWrite does do axis breaks, log scales on both X and Y, can use a
template of format and colors so that all FLOW cytograms look the same in
a general sort of way, and can be manipulated to display over 10K points.
They still give away demo disks which are full featured up to the point of
allowing the demo-ee to produce output. We produce kodachromes using a
polaroid palette C-5000 but found that we needed SuperQ drivers for the
polaroid to overcome some problems encountered with SlideWrite;s (Since I
did not install the set up don't hold me to the reason for needing the
SuperQ drivers. All in all, most here find that no one graphics program
meets all our needs. I personally use both SlideWrite and PowerPoint
while many colleagues also use Freelance.
